Highbridge Capital Management

  • Glenn Dubin is Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, and co-founder of Highbridge Capital Management, an alternative asset management company founded in 1992 with more than 450 employees in offices worldwide.
  • Prior to starting Highbridge, Dubin co-founded Dubin & Swieca Capital Management, a company specializing in alternative investment strategies and recognized as a pioneer in employing multi-manager hedge fund portfolios guided by the principles of Modern Portfolio Theory.

Highbridge and its affiliates manage approximately $30 billion in capital for prominent institutional investors including pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, endowments, and foundations.

In 2004, J.P. Morgan Asset Management purchased a majority interest in Highbridge and completed its purchase of all remaining shares of the firm in 2009—a transaction that remains at the forefront of the hedge fund industry’s institutionalization. In fall 2012, Dubin led a group of global investors in the structuring and acquisition of Castleton Commodities International, LLC.

Dubin is a founding board member and former board Chair of the Robin Hood Foundation, an organization in New York that applies investment principles to charitable giving. He also serves as a board member of Mount Sinai Medical Center, the Museum of Modern Art, and is a member of the Dean’s Executive Committee of the Harvard Kennedy School.
