Jones is a global macro discretionary trader and also the primary risk taker for Tudor’s flagship fund, Tudor BVI Global Fund, and the sole risk taker for Tudor Futures Fund. He served as Chairman of the New York Cotton Exchange (August 1992 – June 1995) and was instrumental in the creation of its Financial Instrument Exchange (FINEX).

Jones’ philanthropic service includes founding and serving as Chairman of the Robin Hood Foundation, the Bedford Stuyvesant I Have A Dream program and the Excellence Charter School. He serves as Director of StudentsFirst NY and is also on the Advisory Board of the University of Virginia’s Contemplative Sciences Center. He is Director of the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation and is Chairman of the Everglades Foundation Inc.

Jones graduated from the University of Virginia with a BA in Economics.
